You are warmly invited to the opening night of Te Pō Mārama – Matariki ki NGĀ ART, a special evening that celebrates the magic and meaning of Matariki through the eyes of our local tamariki and creative team.

This unique glow-in-the-dark exhibition showcases artworks created during our recent programmes at NGĀ ART. It is a reflection of our community’s connection to Matariki, creativity, and each other.

Opening night highlights include:
• Live kapa haka performance by a local group
• Food trucks offering delicious kai
• Outdoor brazier to gather around and enjoy the evening
• An immersive creative experience featuring glowing artworks in a transformed black light space

This is a family-friendly, community event. Everyone is welcome. Dress warm, bring your whānau, and come be part of a night full of connection, creativity and reflection.
